Mobile/SMS privacy commitment: We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may share this information only with service providers that help us deliver communications, operate the website, support recruiting, or comply with law.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use the website, and information from recruiting or advertising platforms if you submit a lead through those channels.

Driver recruiting dataName, phone, email, state, CDL-A status, driver type, experience, trailer preference, notes, SMS consent, and communications with our recruiting team.

Carrier/DB8 Quiz dataCompany name, contact name, email, phone, driver types needed, equipment, driver count, urgency, pay structure, home-time schedule, hiring area, recruiting challenges, lead score, and notes.

Freight quote dataCompany, contact details, trailer type, pickup and delivery information, date, weight, and shipment details.

Device and marketing dataIP address, browser and device data, approximate location, pages visited, referring URLs, ad identifiers, cookie/pixel data, and conversion events.

If you later provide documents or additional employment information, we may collect CDL, MVR, safety, background, employment, tax, payroll, or compliance information as permitted or required for recruiting, onboarding, safety, and legal purposes.

To respond to driver applications, DB8 Quiz submissions, freight quote requests, calls, emails, and messages.
To evaluate driver qualifications, schedule recruiting calls, request documents, support onboarding, and manage recruiting records.
To evaluate carrier recruiting leads, prioritize follow-up, prepare recruiting plans, and communicate with potential customers.
To send SMS/text messages, calls, emails, or other communications where permitted and where consent is required.
To operate, secure, troubleshoot, improve, and measure performance of our website and forms.
To measure advertising performance, track conversions, build audiences, and understand which campaigns generate leads.

5. Cookies, Analytics, Advertising Pixels, and Conversion Tracking

Our website uses Google Ads/gtag, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and similar technologies to measure visits, form submissions, ad performance, and conversions. These tools may collect device identifiers, IP address, browser data, page activity, and event data such as page views or lead submissions.

Lead notifications from website forms may be sent to an internal Telegram bot/chat used by authorized DB8 personnel. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us, protect systems, or comply with law.

7. How We Share Information

With DB8 personnel, recruiters, dispatch, safety, compliance, and operations staff who need the information for their role.
With service providers that help operate our website, forms, Telegram notifications, communications, analytics, advertising, recruiting, onboarding, and compliance workflows.
With partner carriers, customers, vendors, insurers, or compliance partners when needed for a requested recruiting, transportation, hiring, quote, or safety process.
With government, law enforcement, courts, regulators, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or asset transfer.

8. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Lead and inquiry information may generally be kept for up to 24 months after the last interaction unless a longer period is needed for business, legal, safety, tax, insurance, dispute, or compliance reasons. Driver, employment, safety, and transportation records may be kept longer where required by applicable law or business needs. SMS opt-out records may be retained to honor opt-out requests.

These safeguards include limiting access to information, using service providers with security controls, and retaining only information reasonably needed for business or legal purposes.
